Tipsy Parson is an affordable, soulful and fun neighborhood American restaurant in west Chelsea serving “belly-filling goodness” seven days a week - morning, noon and night.
Come for weekend brunch and wake up over a cup of freshly-brewed Stumptown Coffee while you devour New York City’s best sticky bun, doughnuts and farm-fresh eggs.
Claim a cozy window seat with friends or belly-up to the bar and order our famous mac & cheese...
lemon-cornmeal pancakes...Benton's country ham with biscuits & gravy…poached eggs atop a crock of creamy, or stone-ground grits from South Carolina.
We promise you won’t go home hungry.
Spending a day in the neighborhood walking the Highline, visiting Chelsea’s art galleries or shopping the Meatpacking District? Stop in for lunch and ward off hunger with a pimento cheeseburger.
Host a business lunch at our communal table or meet up with friends at our friendly bar. Ease into the evening by sipping a frozen mint julep or seasonal house cocktail while snacking on cheese straws & fried pickles.
When it’s time for dinner, settle into the plush banquettes in our back dining room for a leisurely supper and a bottle of wine from our well-curated list of reasonably-priced gems.
Whatever time of the day, our casual service and accommodating staff will always make you feel like you’re at home.
We look forward to feeding you.

We're proud to announce that we're now serving Fudge Family Farms pork exclusively on our menus.
Raised in Alabama by farmer Henry Fudge, the pigs are a mix of Duroc and Berkshire breeds, are allowed to graze and forage naturally, and have the most amazing flavor and tastiest fat of any pork we've tasted. Henry has given us the NYC exclusive on his pork chops and we're also serving St. Louis ribs, belly, bacon, ham and shoulder. Come taste what all the fuss is about! (Click here to hear more raves about Fudge Farms - advance to 27:17 into the radio show to hear the clip.)

Join us at our bar for Happy Hour Monday through Friday 3:30-6:30p.
With the purchase of a regularly priced glass of wine, frozen julep, house cocktail, or beer, we'll give you a little lagniappe of your choosing to nibble on before it's time for dinner. Don't know what a lagniappe is? It's a small gift given to a customer by a merchant at the time of a purchase - something given or obtained gratuitously or by way of good measure.
